We grow a range of leafy greens, roots and salads – our latest crop list can be seen here.
We sell to retail and catering customers in two main ways:
(i) direct deliveries – given sufficient volumes and value to the order, and depending on delivery location. Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to arrange a direct delivery
(ii) through Manchester Veg People – we are a member of this unique co-operative, distributing and marketing seasonally available produce in Manchester. Contact MVP’s co-ordinator for more information and an up-to-date offer list, which covers not just our crops but those of four other organic growing sites
We also sell certain crops (and surplus) to Organic North wholesaler.
We do not sell our vegetables direct to the public. However, there are lots of fine establishments in and around Manchester where our produce can be found. These are:
Unicorn Grocery – in Chorlton, south Manchester. Probably the best independent shop in the country, with an unbeatable combination of high quality ethical produce and genuinely affordable prices.
Dig Food box scheme – a brilliant example of a home delivery service (or box scheme) in south and central Manchester, which, unlike some of its bigger rivals, has a truly local approach to sourcing and distribution.
Northern Harvest – a well-established and award-winning home delivery service throughout Lancashire, Cheshire, Liverpool and Manchester.
Greenplate – ethical event catering company based in Manchester, and a member of Manchester Veg People.
Bean & Brush cafe – a family art cafe in Sale, and a member of Manchester Veg People.
The Parlour – pub & restaurant in Chorlton, and a member of Manchester Veg People.
University of Manchester Food on Campus – a member of Manchester Veg People, our vegetables end up being served in some of their campus outlets. Surely one of the most pioneering and sustainable food procurement approaches in an academic institution in the UK.
